Barcode Scanners

PLT works with most USB barcode scanners from Zebra (previously known as Symbol). Your scanner needs to be in USB HID emulation mode. Most Zebra USB barcode scanners are configured in USB HID emulation mode by default. Refer to your scanner’s documentation to determine if it supports USB HID Keyboard emulation, and how to configure it appropriately.

Only one barcode scanner can be connected at once.

The following scanners have been tested and qualified for use with the PLT:

• Symbol DS6708
• Symbol DS8108
• Symbol DS9208
• Symbol LS2208
• Symbol LS4208
