Test Plan changes for PLT-300A
Test plans written for the PLT-200A are expected to work as-is when used with the PLT-300A.
ground command
A new ground command has been added, to allow specifying which DUT ground signals should be connected to the PLT system ground.
measure command changes
The measure command has been extended to support additional measurement channels, which are not available on PLT-200A:
channel |
Description |
---|---|
|
1.8V current draw, using ADC |
|
Current draw, using DMM |
|
DATP00 voltage, using ADC |
|
DATP01 voltage, using ADC |
|
DATP02 voltage, using ADC |
|
DATP03 voltage, using ADC |
|
DATP04 voltage, using ADC |
|
DATP05 voltage, using ADC |
|
DATP06 voltage, using ADC |
|
Differential voltage, using ADC |
|
Voltage, using DMM |
power command changes
The power command has been extended to support the additional voltage rails available in the PLT-300A:
rail |
Description |
---|---|
|
1.8V power rail |
|
24V power rail |
In addition, power command now allows setting the SWD and JTAG signaling voltage to either 1.8 or 3.3 Volt.
mux command changes
The mux command has been extended to allow connecting or disconnecting some of the signals from the MUX, digital pin drivers and ADCs that only tolerate up to 5V:

PPC Changes
Pogo-Pin Cassettes (PPCs) designed for PLT-200A do not separate DUT ground (
GND1
,GND2
,GND3
andGND4
) from the PLT system ground. Connecting such a PPC through the HD78 will cause DUT grounds to be shorted with the PLTGND
signal.
Missing TP/UART Switch
On PLT-300A, it is not possible to switch UART0 signals with DDTP15/DDTP16 and DATP08/DATP09. DDTP15 and DDTP16 are not available.
