Test Point Matrix
In order to create a custom Pogo-Pin Cassette for the printed circuit board of a Device Under Test (DUT), a Test Point Matrix (TPM) should be established, to specify how the PLT-300A test probe and signal rails should be connected to the test points in the cassette.
A Test Point Matrix (TPM) is an .XLSX file
(Template: .xlsx template
)
that can be constructed by specifying
Acceptance criteria
Connected PLT probe signals
Connected PLT power signals
for each of the test points in the Test Point List, ensuring that the tests described in the In-circuit Test Plan can be performed with a PLT.
Additional Test Fixture components required in the test fixture should also be identified in the Test Point Matrix (TPM):
Barcode scanners and printers
HW programmers
USB hubs
SBCs
UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet connections
